CATALINA DERMENJIAN
Catalina Dermenjian is an Armenian aspiring cellist, tutor, performer and influencer from Wollongong, Sydney. Currently studying Masters in Music Studies majoring in Cello at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Dr. Georg Pedersen, one of Australia’s foremost Cello teachers and performers.
Catalina has been recently granted the Alan Hyland scholarship for instrumental studies and has been working through her musical career as a soloist and composer. Her works include a mixture of Armenian, Middle Eastern and Tango music not only as a soloist but with internationally known composers such as Elena Kats-Chernin, Ann Carr-Boyd, Gerard Brophy, Marcel Khalife and many others.
